Culture-scape
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, through the Music Strategy, and under the guidance of the Borough Music Consultant, Jean Carter, has been working with nuance on the exciting, musically diverse, project Culture-scape.
nuance is a newly formed new-music ensemble which has a core group of world class orchestral musicians who specialise in collaborations with musicians of equal calibre from different musical traditions and genres, beyond the western classical field.
Culture-scape is a creative music project, in which pupils have been working with nuance exploring different cultures and musics. Three projects have taken place, in satellite areas, prior to all the performers working together towards the Commonwealth Institute performance.
